Nia Sharma shared an emotional note after one of the security guards from her building tragically met with an accident and died on his way to work. She said the incident triggered something deep within, and she wanted to go see his family.
Nia Sharma Supports the Late Security Guard's Family:
Nia took to her Instagram stories, where she shared a picture of the late security guard's wife and children and wrote, "One of the security guards from my building met with an accident and died on the way to work. This is his family: 2 kids, wife, and parents left behind."
"This Incident Triggered Something Deep..."
She added, "This incident triggered something deep within, and I just wanted to go see them a bit from my side. Probably the first time I've done something like this."
Sharing the bank details of the deceased person, Nia mentioned, "A little help could make a huge difference in their lives at this point. Should anyone wish to help as well." She also shared a video of herself walking towards the house of the late guard to meet his bereaved family.

A few days back, Nia Sharma made headlines when she defended Aly Goni against the backlash for not chanting ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya' during Ganpati celebrations. It all started when Nia shared a video featuring Aly Goni, Jasmine Bhasin, and herself, in which both the girls can be seen chanting ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya' but Aly didn't, leading to his trolling.
Supporting Aly Goni, Nia took to Instagram Stories and wrote, "Being a part of someone's festivities is the utmost respect itself. And we celebrate Ganpati, Eid, and every festival in India with the same fervour.”
Nia was last seen on screen in 'Laughter Chefs Fun Unlimited'. The show is hosted by Bharti Singh and judged by chef Harpal Singh Sokhi.
Why did Nia Sharma change her name?
Nia revealed that her original name was Neha Sharma, and it still is on all her important documents. However, Nia revealed that she changed her name just before entering the entertainment industry. This was because many girls had the same name as hers, and it was quite common, added Nia Sharma.
Did Kushal and Nia date?
No, they were not dating. Nia clarified that she and Kushal were never romantically involved. She called the reports classic examples of tabloid journalism at its worst and added that she wasn't affected by the rumours because they were simply co-actors who bonded as team members, with everyone on set knowing the truth.
