Nia Shama on Trolling for Her Bold Fashion Choices: "I Have Never Been Bothered..."

Nia Sharma has addressed the wave of criticism surrounding her bold fashion choices. In a candid chat with Filmygyan, she revealed how she deals with negative remarks and online trolling.

Nia Sharma Opens Up On Fashion Trolls:

For the interview, Nia appeared in her signature bold look. She was seen wearing a baby blue coloured co-ord set featuring a bralette and a pleated long skirt. While talking about her fashion choices, she shared, “I like to dress up. It ends there. Abhi usme kisiki chahi kya bolne wali hai, meri mami mujhe kya bolegi ya phir bahar nikalte mere chaar dost kya bolne wale hai, if I'm gonna be so bothered about all that, I'd never be able to wear clothes."

She continued, “Jab aapko pehnna hai toh pehno. Then you don't bother, right? I have never been bothered by any of these things."

Nia did admit it bothers her a little that when people call her bad words for wearing something. Calling the comments “cheap", she shared, “You don't feel very nice about it, but also, is it impacting your career in any way? The answer is no. You just moved past it." She also added, “India has the largest population in the world, and you're not going to hear every comment there is, every noise there is. You shut it. You just turn a blind eye. In from one ear, out from the other."

Nia Sharma began her acting journey with the 2010 television series 'Kaali: Ek Agnipariksha'. She received her first breakthrough with 'Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai' in 2011.
