Hindustani Bhau Breaks Silence on Marathi Language Row: "It is Wrong To Attack People..."

Social media personality and 'Bigg Boss 13' contestant Hindustani Bhau, aka Vikas Fhatak, has opened up about the ongoing Marathi language imposition row in Maharashtra and urged Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray to stop attacking people who cannot speak Marathi.

In the video, Hindustani Bhau can be seen saying, “Jai Maharashtra to MNS chief Raj Thackeray! In this holy land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the Marathi language is not just our pride, but it is an attitude we carry. "Marathi Language Must Be Taught..."

He went on to say, “Whether it's in school or college, I believe that the Marathi language must be taught. For that, apply as much strength as you want — we all are with you. But attacking the poor and helpless people in the state just because they do not speak Marathi is wrong. These people have come here to study, to work. Similarly, people from Maharashtra also migrate to other states in pursuit of education and jobs. Now imagine if the same thing happens to our people in those states — then what will we do?"

“Hindutva will only exist if all of us stay together. People see Balasaheb Thackeray's image in you, and so you must work to uphold Hindutva. By attacking people over a language, you're distancing yourself from the idea of Hindutva. Those people are our Hindu brothers and sisters, and earlier, they used to look up to you as their Hindu leader — but now, they are scared of you," he added.
