Certain malicious files might be shared with names such as DanceofHillary.exe, tasksche.exe, or OperationSindoor.ppt. If you receive any files with these names via WhatsApp, mail, or any other medium, do not open them. They might be utilized to hack your phone or computer.

Fake news is going viral on WhatsApp and social media. It's necessary to check any news before believing or sharing it. To get real news updates, download the official government application named Sachet. The app provides you with real-time alerts from the Indian government. It keeps you updated and secure in case of any emergency.

Turn On Government Alerts on Your Phone

The government may send notifications for mock drills, emergencies, or disasters. If you are using an iPhone, navigate to Settings > Notifications, scroll down, and enable Government Alerts. Android users should navigate to Settings > Wireless Emergency Alerts and enable all alert options.
