Gaurav Taneja's Wife Ritu Rathee Quits Social Media: "Such a Fake World..."

Ritu Rathee, wife of YouTuber Gaurav Taneja aka Flying Beast, has announced that she has quit social media. In one of his new vlogs, Ritu revealed that she has not even opened her Instagram account for almost a year. The YouTuber's wife, who is also a pilot, clarified that she intentionally took this decision to stay away from social media. Explaining the reason behind the same, she mentioned that she finds the world of influencers ‘fake' and full of ‘lies'.

Ritu Rathee Quits Social Media:

“It's one thing that you're earning a living on social media, but if you look closely, your life won't be incomplete without it. I don't miss it at all," Ritu said.

Ritu had 1.5 million followers on Instagram. Therefore, asked if she worries about the money she's losing out on, she said, “Not at all", and then added, “It wasn't a career for me. It was a hobby. Yes, at times I would do shoots and brand posts, but for me, that wasn't the priority."

"Why Would I Return To Such A Fake World?"

When Gaurav asked if she'd ever return to social media, Ritu clarified, “No, why would I return to such a fake world, filled with lies? I'm not saying that you're a liar, but all of this just doesn't interest me anymore."

Ritu Rathee and Gaurav Taneja tied the knot in 2016. They have two daughters, Kiara and Pihu.

For the unversed, Gaurav Taneja is a 38-year-old YouTuber from Kanpur and has been living in Delhi for quite some time now. Taneja, who reportedly attended Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, holds a Bachelor's degree from IIT Kharagpur.

He began his career with Gurugram-based airline IndiGo, where he served as both a first officer and a captain. Flying Beast later joined Malaysian airline AirAsia as a pilot but was suspended for “standing up for the safe operations of an aircraft and its passengers".

Taneja is also a certified nutritionist and professional bodybuilder who creates content related to fitness and nutrition on YouTube. He currently runs three YouTube channels: 'Flying Beast', 'Fit Muscle TV', and 'Rasbhari Ke Papa'.
