Gauahar Khan Welcomes Second Child, A Baby Boy, With Zaid Darbar

Gauahar Khan has welcomed her second child, a baby boy, on September 1, 2025. Gauahar, who was expecting her second baby, took to her Instagram and shared a post to announce the arrival of her son Zehaan's little brother. While sharing the post, she just wrote “Alhamdulillah" in the caption.

The picture that Gauahar shared has a lion and a lioness with their two cubs hugging each other. The picture also has a note which reads, “Bismillah hir Rahmaan nir Raheem — Zehaan is overjoyed to graciously share his kingdom with his new baby brother, born on September 1, 2025, as the grateful and giggling parents, Zaid and Gauahar, seek everyone's continued love and blessings for their elated family."

Wishes Poured In:

As soon as Gauahar shared this news, fans and friends started reacting to it. One wrote, “Allahhummmaaa Barik Lahuuu, the tiniest, most adorable new member of the familyyyy...Zeeeehuuu ka chotaaaa bhai...Sending you love, duas & strength @gauaharkhan love love." “Allah bless both mother and child with Umar, afiyat, ilm, amal and izzat...Bahut bahut Mubarak," another fan wrote. A third fan shared, “Congratulations Zaid, lots of love on the new member in ur family."

About Gauahar's Second Pregnancy:

In April this year, Gauahar Khan and husband Zaid Darbar announced their second pregnancy. The couple shared the news with an adorable Instagram reel, and love soon poured in from their industry peers.

Earlier, while speaking to News18 Showsha, she revealed that though she has been through this experience once before, the second pregnancy has brought with it a fresh set of challenges.

"My Second Pregnancy Is More Difficult"

“I can't say that I'm more chill this time around. My second pregnancy is more difficult. Each pregnancy is very different, and what you feel each time is different. There are too many myths surrounding pregnancy, but the whole experience is very personal, and it differs from one woman to another. You can't say that yeh hi hota hai toh yeh hi hoga," she said.

While emotional pangs are part and parcel of every pregnancy, Gauahar drew attention to how her second pregnancy is also physically more laborious. “This time, I think there's a little more effort, unlike the first time when I was doing things a little more effortlessly," she added.

For the unversed, Gauahar and Zaid tied the knot in December 2020. They first met at a grocery store during the COVID-19 lockdown, and later, Zaid reached out to her on social media. The duo became parents to a baby boy on May 10, 2023, whom they lovingly named Zehaan.
