Elvish Yadav on Ongoing Feud with Prince Narula: "Not on Talking Terms..."

'Roadies XX' gang leader Elvish Yadav won the show this season after Gullu aka Kushal Tanwar emerged victorious in the finale task. During his tenure on the show, Elvish had a massive fallout with ‘once friend' Prince Narula. Things turned sour as their respective fan clubs turned against each other on social media. Elvish has finally reacted to his feud with Prince and revealed whether they are still friends. He also spoke about the incident when he shot a music video with Prince for free, but requested to be omitted from the video following the fight.

"Everyone Has Become Good Friends of Mine..."

Elvish Yadav began by talking about his friendship with other gang leads such as Rhea Chakraborty, Neha Dhupia, and Gautam Gulati. He told Zoom, “Sabhi mere bohot ache dost bane. Neha, Rhea, Rann bhai (Rannvijay). Gautam bhai keeps calling me to London. Plus, Angad bhai se bhi bohot achi dosti hai meri. Bohot ache log hain (Everyone has become good friends of mine. They're very nice people," Elvish reflected on the meaningful bonds he's formed during the show. Addressing his decision to support co-contestant Neha amidst criticism, he explained, “Neha is not like this. She is very sweet. If you say something to her, even I'll not feel good."

However, his demeanor changed noticeably when the topic turned to Prince Narula. “Aisa nahi hai ki Prince ‘not so doston' me aata hai. But meri baat-cheet nahi hai. Zero baat-cheet. Aur main karne bhi nahi chahta. Aur main door rehna chahta hoon inn sab cheezon se kyunki maine past me cheezein dekhi hain kaise online chaahe offline ladai aur jo uske consequences hote hain dono side se, wo mujhe nahi jhelna. Mujhe chahiye peace. Na main kisi ladai me ghusoon, na main kisi ko galat bolun. Mujhe sirf kaam karna hai (It's not like Prince falls into the ‘not-so-friends' category. But we don't talk – zero communication. And I don't even want to. I prefer to stay away from all this because I've seen how things unfold, whether online or offline – the fights and their consequences from both sides. I don't want to deal with that. I want peace. I don't want to get into any fights or badmouth anyone. I just want to focus on my work)," he explained.

Elvish also remembered how his fight with Prince had ended back in December during the show's shooting. He also filmed a music video for him without charging anything. However, when the promo for the fight was released, Elvish mentioned that Prince brought up everything again on social media. Elvish messaged Prince, who accused him of wrongdoing on the show. In response, Elvish requested his parts be removed from Prince's music video. Despite this, Prince asked if his ‘brother' was upset with him and invited him to a podcast. Yet, Elvish claimed that Prince is ‘egoistic' and restarted the same topic. Finally, Elvish demanded his name be completely removed from the music video.

Elvish further clarified, “Jinko lagta hai controversy se fame mila, that's not true. Main 2016 se videos bana raha hoon. Usse log mujhe pasand karne lage. Controversy to abhi aayi hai." (I have not become famous due to controversies. I started making videos in 2016 and people started liking me. Controversies are recent.)

Addressing his public image and the controversy surrounding the slapping incident, Elvish opened up about the situation with measured clarity. He added, “Ab jaise, meri ladai hui kisi se aur maine kisi ke thappad maar diya. But poori duniya me, akela main thodi hoon jisne haath uthaya kisi pe. Mera waise (image) bana diya, ki ye to aisa hi hai (For example, I got into a fight with someone and ended up slapping them. But I'm not the only one in the world who has ever raised a hand on someone. Still, the way it was portrayed made it seem like this is just the kind of person I am)."
