Dipika Kakar Reveals The Reason Behind Quitting 'Celebrity MasterChef'; Here's What She Said

The recent episode of 'Celebrity MasterChef' was filled with the joy of Holi, fun banters, and an emotional farewell for Dipika Kakar. The 'Bigg Boss 12' winner has been eliminated from the show, as she chose to quit the show due to health reasons. A few weeks ago, she injured her shoulder, and the pain has got worse. She had to leave the show just before the grand finale.

Dipika Kakar On Quitting 'Celebrity MasterChef':

Dipika Kakar admitted that her shoulder injury has impacted her health, she said, "The situation has worsened. There is stiffness due to the injury, and it is increasing in my back as well." Dipika also admitted with a heavy heart that she won't be able to cook anymore. She made this emotional decision during the Holi special episode, finding it difficult to continue the show.

"The Doctor Had Told Me The Only Solution Was To Rest..."

Dipika revealed that she had been pushing herself for the last two weeks, saying, "Two weeks back, when the injury happened, the doctor had told me the only solution was to rest. But I kept going, took breaks, and came back. However, being here and not being able to give my best doesn't feel right because I constantly have to be cautious about my hand."

Among the other contestants and judges, fans were also shaken by Dipika's sudden elimination. "Thank you all for emphatically supporting me," she added, expressing her gratitude for the fans and the judges.

"I Have Learned So Much..."

In her latest YouTube vlog, Dipika further talked about her memorable journey in the show, saying, "I have learned so much. It was crazy fun and special because I was doing something I love. I will miss the show, but sometimes things are not in your control. Maybe my Celebrity MasterChef journey was meant to end here. Now, my focus is on recovery and coming back stronger."

In the same episode, food entrepreneur Zorawar Kalra joined the MasterChef kitchen and gave the Black Apron challenge to the contestants.

Dipika Kakar did give fierce competition in the show. She was the first Celebrity MasterChef participant to receive the immunity pin. Fans are now excited to witness the ultimate winner of Celebrity MasterChef.
