Dipika Kakar Diagnosed With Tumour; To Undergo Surgery Soon

YouTuber and actor Dipika Kakar has been diagnosed with a tumour. In one of his YouTube vlogs, her actor husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, revealed that Dipika was experiencing a lot of stomach pain over the last few days. Initially, she was advised to take medications, assuming it must be some infection. However, when the pain increased, the actress underwent a few scans, which revealed that there was a tumour in her liver.

"It's Very Shocking for Us..."

“Our doctor asked us to visit again, and when we met him, he asked us to do a CT scan and it showed that Dipika has a tumour in the left lobe of her liver. It is bigger in size like a tennis ball. It was very shocking for us," Shoaib said.

Shoaib: "Some Tests are Still Pending..."

After detecting a tumour, doctors recommended some more tests to confirm whether it was cancerous. Fortunately, the reports showed no cancerous cells. However, Shoaib also revealed that some test results are still pending. He also shared that Dipika would undergo surgery at the Kokilaben Hospital soon. The actress is in the hospital for three days now.

Meanwhile, Dipika Kakar was also in the news recently following the Pahalgam terror attack. She was in Kashmir last month with her husband Shoaib and had returned from the valley on the morning of the Pahalgam terror attack. In one of her YouTube vlogs, Dipika opened up about the same and said, “When we landed in Delhi, that is when we came to know about the Pahalgam terror. We were only aware that something had happened, but after reaching Dehli we came to know about the severity of the situation. Bhayanak kahu ya dardnaak, puri tarah se hila ke rakh diya hai."

“The videos that I saw, every time I see those videos of the ladies and kids, the visuals affect me. We were right there a few days back, though we didn't go to the Baisaran valley but those visuals where they were in the valley and suddenly a scarring incident makes you lose your dear one. The thought of itself is extremely devastating. Those who lost their family members, those kids and women who lost their fathers and husbands, we can never feel this, hum sirf ek afsos aur gussa jata sakte hai," she added.
