Cannes 2025: Uorfi Javed Misses the Film Festival After Visa Rejection; Says, "I am Not Stopping..."

In a heartfelt note shared on her Instagram, the popular content creator reflected on the challenges she's been facing. With honesty and vulnerability, she revealed that multiple rejections had left her feeling disheartened.

"My Visa Got Rejected..."

The post read, "I haven't been uploading anything or been seen anywhere because I was going through a phase. My business didn't work. I tried a bunch of other different things only to face rejections." Further, she also revealed to have received an opportunity to make her appearance at Cannes 2025 but could not make it to the prestigious film festival." She added, “Got an opportunity to go to Cannes through Indie Wild. (Big big thank you to diipa khosla and kshitij kankaria) But as the fate would have it, my visa got rejected."

Not one to back down, Uorfi believes that rejections aren't the end, but rather a push to work even harder, as she expressed in her heartfelt note. Concluding her note, she added, “Every rejection is an opportunity if you look carefully. After so many rejections in life. I am not stopping and so should not you."
