Ashish recalled watching Sunny Deol for the first time on screen and how it had a huge impact on him, sharing, "My first movie watching experience was Sunny Deol's Ghatak. I was 2/2.5 years. Sunny Deol ne screen pe chilaya aur yahape pura therater chilla raha tha, siti mar rha tha. Jo Sunny Deol chilata tha yaha public garam hojati thi, I think that is the first moment I have, Bahot chota tha me lekin. That is the moment it's edged in my memory, and it had a significant impact on my life."

Mujhse log puchte hai aap kya itna movies ke bare me actors ke bare me excited rehte ho, meri zindagi rahi hai. I was literally born into cinema.”
