The Rose Water Experiment

Shrimadji begins by asking everyone to stretch their palms. Then he says, “Imagine I pour a little rose water in your hand. Now, on the count of three, throw it up!” One, two, three! What falls on you? Yes, rose water. This is the first part of Karma Theory – when you give something nice, like kindness or love, it will return to you.

The Soil Test

Next, he tells you to hold some soil in your palms. Again, throw it up on the count of three. What happens? Soil falls back on you. This is the second part – if you throw negativity, it comes back too. Whatever you give out, you receive the same in return.

Why Good Karma Takes Time

Some people say, “But I did something good, and nothing good came back.” Shrimadji says, maybe you threw the rose water very high, so it's taking time. But remember, bad deeds (like stones) fall faster than good ones. That's why sometimes we feel pain before seeing the reward of our good actions.

You can't do one good thing and expect lifetime happiness. If you've done many wrong things, they will come back too. This is Karma Theory – simple, fair, and powerful. What you give is what you get. Always choose to throw rose water, not soil.
