Exclusive: I'm not a star kid and don't have a godfather, says Kashika Kapoor

Kashika Kapoor will soon make her Bollywood debut in Prradip Khairwair's 'Ayushmati Geeta Matric Pass' along with Anuj Saini.

Kashika Kapoor, one of the industry's youngest talents, has always amazed the audience with her stunning looks and marvellous acting skills. She enjoys a huge fan following on social media and is a favourite influencer for many brands.

In a recent conversation with us, Kashika discussed her views on reality shows, the last movie she watched, and her growing popularity.

When did you first realize you were famous?

It was when people started coming up to me, started approaching me, created fan pages. You know, many people told me they appreciate my work. That's when. And when people told me that I'm extremely humble and friendly, that's real fame being a nice person.

Do you enjoy being famous?

Who does not like it? But the most important thing is to be a good person. Fame comes and goes. All of this is very temporary. Being a nice person matters. Your character, your personality, all of that matters.

What's your take on reality TV shows?

I love it; it depends on the genre, but I love them, and it's so much fun to see people being themselves. And it is not always scripted, and sometimes it's entertaining to watch the other side of people.

What was the last film you watched?

'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' was a Bollywood film, and 'Murder Mystery 2' and 'The Night Agent' are recent Hollywood films. I loved all of them.

Have you ever had any setbacks, and if so, what were some of them?

I have had many setbacks, but because it's my journey, I'm not a star kid and don't have a godfather. So yes, I've had many setbacks, which made me stronger and helped me deal with things better. Every time there's a downfall, something huge is coming, and that's what I'm a great believer in. So yeah, I'm highly grateful to them.

On the work front, Kashika was recently seen in the music video, 'O Maahi,' along with Mohd Danish. She will soon make her Bollywood debut in Prradip Khairwair's 'Ayushmati Geeta Matric Pass' along with Anuj Saini.
