"Nowadays with so many diets in the market, it is very easy to follow any one of them. While these may help you shed kilos, are they actually healthy? People are obsessed with dieting. Celebrity astrologer and vastu consultant Dr. Acharya Vinod Kumar shares his opinion.
Fasting & Its Benefits:
“A proper diet holds immense relevance for today's generation, with its impact on health, longevity, spiritual growth, and ethical considerations. Scriptures across cultures emphasize fasting and eating right, highlighting their significance. Fasting, for instance, not only purifies the body and mind but also fosters self-discipline,” he says.
Talking more on it, he adds, “Moreover, some texts advocate vegetarianism and non-violence towards animals, aligning with contemporary ethical and environmental concerns. Today's generation can learn the importance of balanced nutrition, portion control, and mindful eating. Establishing regular meal times and avoiding late-night eating are also valuable habits.”

However, according to Ojha, the ideal time to eat can vary. “And, astrology may suggest certain food restrictions based on one's birth chart.
