- Sanyam Sharma's most honest video yet
Sanyam Sharma, a well-known comic content creator, recently shared a video that struck an emotional note with many people. In this video, he portrays a character who helps all of his friends cope with depression. He's always there for them, always positive, and always happy. But deep down, he's hiding something big, his own sadness. He acts happy, yet he has no one to talk to.
“Brother, What's the Point of Crying?”
The video starts with a call between Sanyam and a friend who is feeling low. His friend opens up about his problems, and Sanyam jumps in with excitement:
“Brother, what is the use of wetting the pillow with something like this? It's Friday night, friend! Everyone is partying today, the whole of India is partying. In fact, I have to go to 3 parties. I've attended one, I'm at one, and I'll go to the next soon.”
He tells his friend to be around people and think positive.
“Who doesn't have problems? Me? Why don't I have any? Because I stay positive.”
Toxic Positivity and Funny One-Liners
Sanyam tries to cheer him up more:
“Hey, you are a man. You are full of testosterone and you are crying?”
Then adds, “Brother, when all the doors are closed, the AC turns on. So stay positive.”
His friend talks about selling his kidney, and Sanyam says,
“No no, you will not sell your kidney, brother. It hurts a lot.”
His friend asks how he knows. “I know, friend. I study psychology. I know it hurts when a kidney is removed. Stay positive.”
The Real Truth Behind the Act
He pushes his friend to get out of bed and go to a party.
“Go to the party, get up from the bed. No no, you can't come to my party, there are only girls there. They feel uncomfortable with the opposite gender. You go to your own party. Call me anytime you need me. But right now, the girls are calling me; they feel uncomfortable. I'll go now.”
After the call, the truth is revealed: Sanyam was not at any party. He was lying in bed the whole time. All the things he said were fake. He is also dealing with depression but has no one to talk to. This video shows the silent pain of people who help others but hide their own struggles.
