Stand-up comedian Ravi Gupta, aka Shudhdesicomic, shares a hilarious take on his visit to the mountains. He says mountain people are known to be very kind and pure-hearted. But when he visited Dharamshala, something funny happened. A group of people started begging for money. He pointed out, “Hey, this place is called Dharamshala (a shelter for religious travelers)!” The locals replied, “No, the name of the place is Dharamshala!” 

Hotel Hyatt and the Helpful Local

Ravi continues his funny journey, talking about the hotel they stayed in: the Hyatt. A local guy, wrapped in a wet towel, stood up like he was straight out of a movie. Ravi politely asked him, “Can you suggest a nice place to visit around here?” Now, anyone who's been to the mountains knows what's coming next...

Every Answer is a Trek!

Ask any local about tourist spots, and Boom! They hit you with a trek recommendation. “You should go on this trek, sir. You'll go mad!” Ravi says, “Wait, if I'm going to go mad, why would I go there?” Good question! Imagine returning from the mountains all wild, with nothing but a leaf tied to your mouth, saying, “I had a great time!”

Nature Gone Wild

Ravi ends his story with a funny image. “Nature is beautiful,” he says, “but too much nature can make you crazy!” He jokes that he almost turned into a mountain caveman, all in the name of ‘experiencing nature.' One thing's for sure: with mountains, the people are warm, but the adventures can be a little too wild!
