Popular food blogger Shivesh Bhatia is here with another irresistible dessert that's perfect for home bakers — an Eggless Triple Chocolate Milk Cake prepared right in a cooker. Moist, rich, and full of chocolate goodness, the cake is ridiculously simple to prepare using ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen.
Start by Mixing the Wet Ingredients
In a large bowl, add ½ cup curd and ¼ teaspoon baking soda. Whisk until bubbles appear; this helps the cake rise. Next, add ¾ cup castor sugar, 6 tablespoons oil, and ¼ cup milk. Mix until everything is smooth and well combined.
Fold in the Dry Ingredients
Now add ¾ cup flour, 6 tablespoons cocoa powder, and ½ teaspoon baking powder. Mix gently to form a smooth, lump-free batter. Pour the batter into a greased and lined rectangular mold (around 5.5 x 3.5 inches).
Cook in a Cooker – No Oven Needed
Take a large pressure cooker, spread a layer of salt at the bottom, and place a small stand inside. Preheat on low-medium heat for 10 minutes (don't use the gasket or whistle). Place your cake mold inside, cover with a lid, and let it cook for 30–35 minutes. Check with a skewer; it should come out clean.
Add the Final Chocolate Touch
Place a bar of dark chocolate on top of the hotcake and close the lid again for 5 minutes. The chocolate will melt beautifully. Demold and pour 1 cup of chocolate milk around the cake. Serve warm and indulge in this sinful, eggless delight.
