Latest Govt Scheme: ₹15,000 Employee Benefit + Monthly Company Incentives Announced

Famous financial influencer Vikas Gawri just brought some fantastic news for employees working on a salary. The Government of India initiated a new scheme titled the Employment Linked Incentive Scheme. The scheme will help first-time workers by providing a monetary incentive of ₹15,000. It also motivates businesses to recruit new employees by providing incentives every month.

₹15,000 Incentive for New Employees

Under this scheme, eligible employees will receive a total incentive of ₹15,000 in two parts. The first installment will be given after completing 6 months of continuous work. The second installment will be provided after completing 12 months. This move encourages long-term employment and financial stability among young workers.

Free Financial Literacy Course is a Must

To get this benefit, employees must complete a free financial literacy course. The course is created to enhance the money management skills and enhance financial knowledge. The course is compulsory but free of charge, and it is a win-win for employees.

Employers to Get ₹3,000 Per Month

It's not just employees who benefit from this scheme. Employers registered under EPFO will also get government support. The Government will offer up to ₹3,000 per month for each new eligible employee for a period of two years. This makes it attractive for companies to hire fresh talent.

Scheme Launches on 1st August

The Employment Linked Incentive Scheme is set to begin on 1 August. The Government has allocated a massive budget of ₹1 lakh crore for this program. More details and official guidelines will be available soon on the official EPF website.
