Bigg Boss 18: Nia Sharma has been making headlines since her name was confirmed by Rohit Shetty on the 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' finale for Bigg Boss. Her fans were super excited to see her in the show.

Now, she has confirmed that she is not entering the Bigg Boss 18 house and shared an apology on social media. Taking to Instagram, she wrote, "To the fans And well-wishers I have disappointed, sorry. Truly been overwhelmed by the tremendous support, love, and crazy hype! almost made me want to go inside the house for once made me realize what I've earned in the last 14 years. Can't say I didn't enjoy the hype and attention but please don't blame me. It wasn't me."

This didn't go well with the netizens and they have slammed her for pulling a publicity stunt. Calling her out, a user wrote, "What the heck? Saw the whole premiere and where is Nia Sharma?.. Seriously #BiggBoss it was just a publicity stunt.. not cool at all..." Another commented, "And Nia is equally to be blamed as she sat back and enjoyed the hype being the channel's pet. Remind you, she did it once back during BB OTT. Maan se utar gayi. Sorry but unfollowed this two-faced hypocrite."

Earlier, when she was quizzed about her participation by the media and fans. She posted a story on Instagram and said, "Hi there! Please don't call or text me to ask anything about the Bigg Boss thing. Mujhe maaf kardo. Mein nahi reply karugi. (Please forgive me. I won't reply.) Not up for giving quotes or any interviews. Have an awesome day."
