- Calls for respect and celebrates individuality over fan-driven rivalries
Urvashi Rautela has strongly reacted to a viral AI-generated image that compared her with actors like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. The image ranked them based on global fame and placed some in submissive positions, drawing criticism online. Calling out the toxicity, Urvashi urged fans to stop pitting women against each other and discouraged such comparisons within the film industry.
Urvashi Rautela Says Comparisons Create Negativity:
The controversy began after a fan-made AI-generated image circulated online featuring several leading Bollywood actresses.
The image placed Aishwarya Rai at the top in terms of global stardom, while Priyanka Chopra was shown sitting on a throne. Deepika Padukone and Madhuri Dixit were positioned beside her, while actors including Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Urvashi Rautela were shown kneeling with their names tagged. Urvashi later reshared the image on Instagram Stories and criticised the culture of comparing female actors online.

“I truly believe every actress has her own journey, hard work, and destiny. Comparing women or creating fan wars only spreads negativity. Let's celebrate talent, growth, and kindness instead. Please stop this toxicity," she wrote.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan continued her long association with the festival as a global ambassador for L'Oréal Paris, a role she has held since 2003.
