Uditi Singh Opens Up About Dating Karan Wahi: "My Parents Didn't Want Me To Date An Actor"

'Bigg Boss 20' contestant Uditi Singh recently opened up about her past relationship with actor Karan Wahi, sharing how her parents were never comfortable with the romance. During a conversation with fellow contestants Gullu and Aman Gandhi inside the house, Uditi recalled travelling from London to Mumbai to meet Karan and revealed that her family disapproved of the relationship because of their age difference and his profession.

Relationship Revelation:

Speaking about her time with Karan Wahi, Uditi shared that she often visited Mumbai to spend time with him. She revealed that through Karan, she got the opportunity to meet several well-known actors from the industry.

Recalling those days, Uditi said, “Firstly I came to meet my ex because he played football with all these actors, Abhishek, Ranbir and all. So I met Ranbir because I used to be a fan. Toh usse mila tha (So I met him). I used to come to Bombay to meet him. But he was so popular, usne story daal di (he put up a story). My mother didn't like the relationship kyunki das saal ka gap tha (because there was a 10-year age gap), my parents didn't like ki main actor ko date karun (that I was dating an actor)."

Parents Were Against It:

Uditi revealed that her family had no idea about her trips to Mumbai initially. At the time, she was travelling from London to meet Karan without informing them. However, things changed when one of Karan's social media posts hinted at their relationship. According to Uditi, her parents were unhappy after finding out about the romance. The 10-year age difference became a major concern for her family, while Karan's profession as an actor added to their reservations.

Apart from discussing her relationship, Uditi also fondly recalled meeting Ranbir Kapoor through Karan. She explained that Karan frequently played football with actors from the film industry, giving her the chance to interact with some of Bollywood's biggest names.
