- Last minute outfit requests created stressful work conditions
- Expensive outfits not returned or properly acknowledged
Tanya Mittal, the third runner-up of 'Bigg Boss 19', has found herself in a controversy after her stylist, Riddhima Sharma, publicly accused her of unpaid duesd and failing to return designer outfits used during the show. The issue surfaced right after the finale when Sharma shared a detailed note on Instagram explaining her frustration.
Stylist Raises Concerns Over Unpaid Outfits
According to Sharma, her team provided multiple expensive sarees and lehengas for Mittal during the week, but neither payments nor appreciation reportedly came from Mittal's side. She highlighted the difference between a stylist and a designer, claiming she was responsible for sourcing every look and outfit. Sharma alleged that none of the outfits had been returned yet, writing that the team “loved the clothes but never acknowledged the effort.”
Allegations of Pressure and Demands
Sharma also described a difficult working relationship, saying Mittal's team constantly pressured her with statements like, “If today's saree doesn't arrive, the payment won't be made.” She claims this led to frequent last minute requests, often requiring her to arrange outfits within hours. She added that she even covered delivery charges herself, through the outfits being costly some priced as high as Rupees 58 thousand.

Claims of Missing Payments for Multiple Events
The stylist listed several unpaid styling jobs including outfits for Weekend Ka Vaar, the Grand Finale, and other recent appearances. Sharma said she consistently completed her work on time, yet payments were allegedly not given. She expressed disappointment, especially after supporting Mittal throughout interviews, voting promotions, and public appearances.
Sharma also mentioned that even when she informed Mittal's team that she couldn't source an outfit due to being in another city, she was told the payment would be stopped if the outfit wasn't delivered. She claimed the pending amount of rupees 50 thousdand for one week's styling services was paid only after this conversation.
Tanya Mittal, a spiritual influencer who entered 'Bigg Boss 19' with the claim of owning nearly 800 sarees, has been in the spotlight since the show's end. As of now, she has not issued an official response to the allegations. The situation continues to start conversations online about the treatment of stylists in the entertainment industry.
