Sneha Khanwalkar's 'Puranpoli' Gets A Standalone Music Video, Releases Ahead Of Diwali

As the festive season gathers momentum, music composer and producer Sneha Khanwalkar is bringing a fresh dose of energy to Diwali celebrations with the launch of the standalone music video for 'Puranpoli'. Originally featured in filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane's segment of 'Lust Stories 3', the track is now stepping out of its cinematic setting to connect directly with music lovers.

Set to release on October 28, the music video blends festive vibes, cultural influences and upbeat rhythms, making it a timely addition to Diwali playlists.

From Screen To Standalone Release:

Known for her distinctive musical style and experimental soundscapes, Sneha Khanwalkar has reimagined 'Puranpoli' as an independent music offering. The song's transition from a film soundtrack to a dedicated music video reflects the growing appeal of independent music content that can thrive beyond films and streaming projects.

The track's catchy beats and playful composition helped it stand out in 'Lust Stories 3', and its standalone release aims to introduce it to a much wider audience.

A Celebration Of Music And Culture:

Named after the beloved Maharashtrian sweet dish that's often associated with celebrations and family gatherings, 'Puranpoli' brings together elements of tradition and contemporary music. The song captures the festive spirit through energetic sounds and vibrant visuals designed to encourage audiences to celebrate, dance and enjoy the season.

The music video features Vijay Varma, Vikramaditya Motwane, Kratex and Ganesh Chandanshive alongside Sneha Khanwalkar, creating an ensemble that reflects the song's fun and unconventional identity.

Sneha Khanwalkar On The Song's Festive Release:

Speaking about the track, Sneha Khanwalkar shared her excitement about presenting it as a standalone music video during the festive season.

“'Puranpoli' has a very playful and infectious energy to it, and I love how the song brings together different musical influences with a sense of fun. With Diwali around the corner, it felt like the perfect time to take it beyond the film and bring it to audiences as a standalone music video. The idea is to get people to let go, enjoy themselves and simply dance. Having Vijay, Vikramaditya, Kratex and Ganesh Chandanshive come together for the video makes the experience even more special. I hope it becomes a part of everyone's festive celebrations.”

Spotlight On Independent Music:

At a time when independent artists are increasingly building their own audiences, 'Puranpoli' highlights how a song can find a second life outside a film project. With its festive theme, energetic composition and unique creative vision, Sneha Khanwalkar's latest release aims to strike a chord with listeners looking for a fresh soundtrack for Diwali celebrations.
