In the now-viral video, Raina is seen sitting with someone in what appears to be a shopping complex. The moment he realises that a fan is secretly recording a video with him in the background, the comedian rushes to him and begins showering him with exaggerated kisses on both cheeks, leaving the fan laughing uncontrollably. Sharing the video, Instagram handle @tv1indialive wrote, “Samay Raina Starts Kissing Fan for Filming Him in Public to Make Him Stop.”

The video has gone viral, sparking a laughter riot in the comment section. Several social media users compared Raina to singer Udit Narayan, who triggered a controversy earlier this year after he kissed a female fan on the lips during a concert. “Bro turned into Udit Narayan,” a user wrote. “This is magnus carlsen from Bihar,” another commented.

About 'India's Got Latent Row':

Earlier this year, Samay was also booked by the Maharashtra and Assam police over derogatory comments on his YouTube show 'India's Got Talent' along with influencer Ranveer Allahbadia. On Tuesday, Samay also appeared before the National Commission for Women and submitted a written apology over remarks deemed disrespectful to women in the show.

The NCW summoned Samay over objectionable content in the programme aired on an online platform. During the hearing before NCW Chairperson Vijay Rahatkar, Samay expressed regret for his comments and assured the Commission that he would avoid such statements in the future, according to a statement. He also agreed to create content that upholds the dignity of women and spreads awareness about their rights and respect, the NCW statement added.
