Rashmika Mandanna Appointed National Ambassador For Cyber Safety

Actor Rashmika Mandanna, who became a victim of a deep fake video earlier this year, has been appointed the National Ambassador for promoting cyber safety by the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs. She is committed to raising awareness about various cybercrime threats, including online fraud, deep fake videos, cyberbullying, and AI-generated malicious content. Rashmika's experience has sparked conversations about the misuse of technology, leading many celebrities to express their concerns.

She has shared a video to announce that she has been appointed the brand ambassador of I4C. She wrote, "Let's unite to build a safer cyberspace for ourselves and future generations. I want to bring awareness and protect as many of you as possible from cybercrimes so as I take on the role of brand ambassador for I4C."
