“I have been posting for him for 6 years. And Tara had been calling him Abba for 6 years. It was a joint decision between me and Jay that she will call him Abba,” Mahhi said. Rejecting any romantic link-up rumours, she described Nadeem as a godfather figure and added, “You have made the word Abba so disgusting.”

Mahhi and Jay ended their 14-year marriage in January 2026. The former couple announced their separation through a joint statement and urged people not to assign blame to either side. “Though we walk separate paths, there is no villain in this story and no negativity attached to this decision,” they stated.

Mahhi later confirmed the divorce and maintained that they continue to share a healthy friendship. “Yes, I am separated from Jay. We are divorced, but we remain good friends,” she said.
