Content creator Kusha Kapila has firmly denied rumours of a reconciliation with comedian Samay Raina after a photo of the two surfaced online and sparked speculation. Addressing the viral image on Instagram Stories, Kusha claimed that the picture had been digitally manipulated and accused certain online accounts of attempting to misrepresent her stance.

Kusha Calls Viral Images Fake:

Responding to posts suggesting that she had patched up with Samay, Kusha wrote, “Fake and seeded. My face is AI altered. Why would anyone spend any money doing this is beyond me? The way incel internet will stoop down to minimise me is laughable at this point.”

She also clarified that she has no plans to appear on Samay Raina's comedy show, India's Got Latent, putting an end to speculation surrounding a possible collaboration.

Thanking author and creator Nikhil Taneja for calling out the altered images, Kusha added, “Thank you for always coming through against this hot pile of bakwas garbage that god knows who is funding. It's laughable.”

Asks Meme Pages To Move On:

In another post, Kusha expressed frustration over the continued circulation of such rumours. “Kitna seeding karoge, meme accounts? Ruk jao. Will I have to reveal the jokes at this point to justify my anger? Wapas case ho jayega bhai. Move on, bhai. Maine kisi party mein hee nahi jaana ab,” she wrote.

The actor also urged people to stop trivialising women's experiences and move on from the controversy that began in 2024.

Revisits 2024 Roast Controversy:

Sharing a detailed note, Kusha revisited the fallout from Ashish Solanki's Pretty Good Roast Show, where Samay Raina's comments about her divorce from Zorawar Ahluwalia drew criticism.

“Yes, we were friends. Samay was a panelist on a roast show hosted by Ashish Solanki. There was no script shared, no contract signed, and no jokes shared beforehand. Everything was done in good faith. I had no idea what was coming my way. The jokes made at my expense were horrible, and I stand by my stance that they should have been censored,” she said.

Kusha revealed that she blocked both Samay and Ashish after the episode and underwent therapy to deal with the emotional impact.

"We Are Not Friends..."

Clarifying reports triggered by a recent appearance at singer Jasleen Royal's birthday party, Kusha said their presence at the same event should not be interpreted as a reconciliation.

“I am not friends with Samay. I will never be on Latent. We have tried to be cordial and move past what happened by making sense of it, but that's all. We have decided to not speak of each other on the Internet,” she wrote.

Ending her note, Kusha urged people to stop spreading rumours, stating, “Stop minimising women. Let's all move the fk on.”
