Hina Khan Opens Up On Ignoring Cancer Symptoms: "Koi Infection Hoga..."

Hina Khan has recently joined Farah Khan for a YouTube video shot at the choreographer's house over some Kashmiri delicacies. In the video, Hina Khan shared that she first ignored her cancer symptoms, thinking that it would just be an infection. She said she felt symptoms during her recent appearance on 'Bigg Boss' but didn't think that it would be cancer.

"I Knew Something Was Wrong..."

Recalling Hina Khan's appearance on 'Bigg Boss' recently, Farah Khan asked if she knew that she had cancer then. Hina said, "No. I knew something was wrong, but I didn't want to leave the shoot and get myself checked kyuki mujhe yeh nahi pata tha ki itna galat hai. You don't really think so extreme ki… haan thik hai kuch test kara lenge koi ni, koi infection ho gaya hoga…that's what I had in mind. But yes, I had symptoms while shooting."

Hina Khan is fighting stage three breast cancer but she stays strong and positive. Even during this tough time, she continues to inspire others with her words and actions. She always tries to spread hope and her latest social media post is another example of her strength.

Hina recently emphasized the importance of early cancer diagnosis while speaking on the occasion of World Cancer Day observed on February 4. In an interview with ANI, the actress highlighted how crucial timely treatment is for cancer patients. She shared her own experience, stating that her treatment began within just a few days of her diagnosis.

Hina further said that the timely treatment made her realise how valuable every moment is when dealing with such a serious illness. “On this World Cancer Day, I want to thank the government's initiatives like Ayushman Bharat. I have seen it in Tata Memorial Hospital and many other hospitals. The people now have the chance of timely treatment which is very important," Hina added.

Hina was recently seen in the crime thriller 'Griha Laxmi', directed by Rumaan Kidwai. The series is set in the fictional village of Betalgadh and follows the story of Laxmi (Hina), a simple housewife whose life takes a sudden turn. To support her family, she is forced to make difficult choices, which lead her into the dangerous world of crime and drugs. The show features actors like Chunky Panday, Rahul Dev and Dibyendu Bhattacharya. The series has been written by Umag Beena Saxena and produced by Ajaydeep Singh and Kaushik Izardar. 'Griha Laxmi' began streaming on EPIC ON on January 16.
