While speaking to Paras Chhabra, Himanshi reflected on the emotional conflict she faced when thoughts of conversion began to feel deeply personal.

Among the many thoughts that troubled her, one particular question stood out. She shared, “Phir ek din mere ko sawaal aaya ki mujhe dafnaya jaayega ya jalaya jaayega. Ye mera self-conscious mujhse pooch raha hai. Choice toh meri koi bhi ho sakti hai ki main kuch bhi bolna chahti hoon, kuch bhi apnana chahti hoon. Mere ko lagta hai individually sabki choices honi chahiye."

The question, she explained, emerged from her subconscious and made her realize how deeply her religious identity was connected to her sense of self.

Torn Between Beliefs And New Beginnings:

Himanshi also admitted that she often wondered whether she could completely embrace another faith when her own beliefs remained so deeply rooted within her. She questioned whether, while praying according to a different religion, her instincts would still draw her back to the prayers and practices she grew up with.

The internal conflict made her realize that faith was not merely a matter of tradition, but a significant part of her identity.
