Popular YouTuber and ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2' winner Elvish Yadav has finally addressed the ongoing controversy around his alleged political leanings. Amid growing chatter online, the influencer made it clear that he is not associated with any political party and does not hold any personal allegiance to one.
In a strongly worded statement shared on social media, Elvish dismissed claims of being linked to any particular party. He emphasised that his opinions are independent and formed based on his personal understanding of issues, rather than political affiliations.
Strong Stand on National Issues:
Despite distancing himself from politics, Elvish Yadav maintained that he will continue to speak up on matters he feels strongly about. He highlighted that while he supports genuine student concerns and issues affecting the youth, he draws a firm line when it comes to content or narratives that he believes go against national interest.
According to him, his stance is driven by a basic understanding of right and wrong, and not by any political agenda. He reiterated that he has always been vocal about issues he disagrees with and will continue to do so moving forward.
‘Khargosh Janta Party': A Satirical Move
Adding fuel to the debate, Elvish recently introduced a fictional political concept called the ‘Khargosh Janta Party' (KJP). The move was widely perceived as a humorous and satirical response to the viral ‘Cockroach Janta Party' trend currently dominating social media.

Through quirky posts and playful messaging, Elvish invited people to gather at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, even jokingly promising “free carrots” for attendees. The campaign, filled with tongue-in-cheek slogans and exaggerated promises, quickly went viral and triggered mixed reactions online.
While many fans found the content entertaining and in line with his signature style, others criticised him for trivialising a movement that they believe addresses serious concerns.
What Is the ‘Cockroach Janta Party'?
The ‘Cockroach Janta Party' started as a satirical digital movement but soon gained massive traction among Gen Z audiences. Initially born out of an online narrative, the movement quickly evolved into a larger conversation around student issues, unemployment, and exam-related controversies.
Within weeks, the party grew its presence across platforms like Instagram and X, turning into a full-scale internet phenomenon. It even saw real-world participation, with protests held in Delhi demanding accountability on key education-related issues.
Social Media Debate Intensifies:
Elvish Yadav's remarks and satirical take have further intensified the already heated online discourse. The internet appears divided, while a section supports his freedom of expression and comedic timing, another segment believes he should approach such topics with greater sensitivity.
As discussions continue to trend, one thing remains clear: Elvish Yadav is standing his ground. He has positioned himself as an independent voice, one that refuses to be boxed into political narratives while continuing to engage with trending conversations in his own style.
