'Bigg Boss 19': Munisha Khatwani Lashes Out At Housemates Body Shaming Ashnoor Kaur: "Please Stop Judging Her..."

'Bigg Boss 19' has seen its share of heated moments, but the recent clips of housemates' body-shaming of Ashnoor Kaur has deeply disturbed both viewers and industry colleagues. The incident reportedly involving Shehbaz Badesha, Kunika Sadanand, Amaal Mallik, Abhishek Bajaj, Tanya Mittal, and Neelam Giri have drawn widespread criticism for promoting negativity and insensitivity on national television.

"You Cannot Body Shame Anybody Like That..."

Munisha Khatwani has slammed housemates and said, “You cannot body shame anybody like that, especially not on national television,” said Munisha. “She's just 21 years old, and there's a lot more to her than her weight. Please stop judging her based on a few kilos up or down.”

Munisha's words have resonated deeply across social media, where fans and netizens have united in support of Ashnoor, applauding her grace and composure throughout the ordeal. Despite being one of the youngest contestants in the Bigg Boss house, Ashnoor Kaur has always shown immense maturity, and dignity.

Rohan Mehra: "Body Shaming is Unacceptable..."

Rohan Mehra has also strongly condemned the trio (Neelam, Kunickaa and Tanya) for ridiculing Ashnoor's body and called their behavior unacceptable. Taking to X, Rohan reacted to a video from the 'Bigg Boss 19' house wherein the trio are seen gossiping on the dining table and wrote, “Body shaming is unacceptable. What happened to @ashnoorkaur today was wrong and needs to be called out. Respect and kindness should be the bare minimum. Shame on you, @iam_kunickaasadanand, @neelamgiri_ and @tanyamittalofficial," giving a thumbs down emoticon.

About the Controversy:

In the clip, Neelam asks Kunickaa and Tanya, “Jurassic Park dekhoge?" after she points towards Ashnoor, sitting at a distance along with Pranit More and says, “woh dekho." Listening to this, Kunickaa burst into laughter.

Moving ahead, Tanya was seen telling Neelam that despite hitting the gym every single day without fail, Ashnoor had still been putting on weight. To this, Neelam had added that despite Ashnoor hitting the gym, working out every single day and doing nothing else in the house, she was surprised to see how the TV actress was still putting on weight.

In the recent live feed, Tanya also said that Ashnoor had lost a lot of weight a few weeks ago but has now regained some of it and looks more like her mother. The girls were also seen discussing Ashnoor's clothing from the Bigg Boss Weekend Ka Vaar episode. Both agreed that the clothing did not suit her body shape, particularly since she had gained weight.
