Baseer Ali Opens Up About his Bond With Nehal Chudasama: "This Was a Planned Conspiracy!"

Baseer Ali was evicted from 'Bigg Boss 19' recently. After his eviction from the show, he opened about his game and claimed that despite being a strong performer, he was not given the guidance or feedback that other contestants received during the weekend episodes. He also shared his disappointment with the makers, the narrative built around his relationships, and where he believes things went wrong.

"I Was Stuck In Those Love Angles..."

When asked if, in hindsight, he had figured out where things went wrong, Baseer Ali said with a smile, "I really don't think that I have done anything wrong. I don't think that if I get a chance to go back in time and play the game again, then I will do everything that I have done. But yes, one thing that I am getting to hear the episodes somehow showed that I was stuck in those love angles."

"Nobody Gave Any Feedback In Weekend Episodes"

He emphasized that the show reduced his journey to romantic angles, overshadowing his performance and individuality. Questioning the portrayal, he asked whether he was just sitting with the girls for 24 hours. He stated, "'Big Boss' was such a big platform for me. I came to make my mark, a journey worth remembering... and I was being pulled into those angles. And the most disappointing thing was that no one gave me any feedback on any weekend. They didn't tell me that this is what is happening to you or that is what is being done."

According to Baseer, while other contestants were "guided for 2–3 weeks" and informed about the outside perception, he was left “blank,” which ultimately led to him being “sidelined.” When confronted with the audience's perception of him desperately trying to be seen in the final episodes, and thus forming a bond with Nehal Chudasama, the former 'Splitsvilla' contestant clarified that his actions were driven by humanity, not strategy.

Baseer on His Bond With Nehal:

“It's not that we were lying on each other's laps the whole day. And in the last week, she had a 102 fever, and her condition was not well. And a person who tells you that she has feelings for you won't you take care of them as a friend? If there is no humanity in a person, then I don't know what kind of people they are," he said, adding that he has always clarified, even in front of host Salman Khan, that they are just friends.

While the friendship was going strong inside the house, Baseer said that after exiting and gaining access to his phone, he saw conversations that left him feeling betrayed. He also shared how his family informed him that he was being used by Nehal and Farrhana. "I saw some videos where it seems that this is a planned conspiracy. They had planned that they wouldn't let me go, 'hum usse apne paas se jaane nahi denge'. I found that very hurtful Right now, I am not in the emotional state to discuss these things with them, especially with Nehal."

When asked about his bond with Farrhana, which many viewers found more organic, Baseer clarified that it was purely platonic. He said that when Farrhana would attack him verbally, he would respond playfully, and that soon became their mode of communication. "We became friends, and let me say it in big block letters, there was nothing from my side for Farrhana."
