If this one word disturbs you for days, then maybe you really are being an idiot." His point is not to make fun but to show how the problem lies not with the word but with how much power you give to it.

He continues to explain that individuals speak according to what they know. An individual who knows good things will speak good. An individual who is full of negativity will speak negatively. Their words reveal something about them, not about you. But most people let these negative words determine how they feel about themselves.
