Highlights
  • Pakistans military owns major businesses
  • The Indian military remains apolitical and professional
  • Real power structure in Pakistan vs India with cold, hard facts.

In a very powerful episode of The Ranveer Show, Ranveer Allahbadia sits with Abhijit Chavda, physicist, historian, and geopolitical analyst, to shed a deep light on the major contrast between the Indian and Pakistani armed forces.

This is not a normal conversation driven by emotion, but is also one deeply rooted in the facts that most people aren't even aware of.

Chavda points out a very disturbing truth: in Pakistan, the military holds enormous power, not just militarily, but also economically and politically. From owning restaurants and businesses to dictating the direction of national politics, the Pakistani military plays a major role as a shadow government.

As Ranveer shares from a very personal experience with a Pakistani journalist in the UAE, "In Pakistan, even the restaurants are owned by the military forces."

This centralization of power in the hands of the military comes at the cost of democracy. Leaders in Pakistan, Chavda explains, are often the puppets of the ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence).

They remain in full power only if they toe the military's line, and in return, they're often permitted to amass some personal wealth. The global community largely remains unaware of this huge imbalance between the political power and military control in Pakistan.

In a very sharp contrast, India's military remains professional, apolitical, and also non-commercial. It does not even interfere in the governance or economics and is solely dedicated to the defense, national service, and strategic strength.

This apparent separation of military and civil authority is a major hallmark of India's awesome democratic integrity and a key reason why India is usually viewed as a rising power globally.

This episode serves as a strong reality check and a true reminder of why India's strength lies in its whole structure, discipline, and values, and not just its weaponry.
