Dipika Kakar Heaps Praise on Her Mother-in-Law; Here's Why

YouTuber & actor Dipika Kakar has appreciated her mother and mother-in-law for their support in raising her son, Ruhaan. In the vlog, she said that her mother-in-law never interfered and questioned her about her son's upbringing.

"My Mother-in-Law Never Pressured Me..."

She said, “If I talk from my point of view, I would say that I am this generation's mom. I had to do things with my kid in a certain way. My mother-in-law never came and pressured me, No, we do this and that. You do this only. This happens in many homes. And it is a challenge for a lot of mothers to convince that they don't want to follow this method. Shoaib and I just had to explain to Ammi once. Even my mother, there's a difference in how you communicate and accept the newness. If that thing is understood, then the journey of the parent group becomes easier.”

"I Wanted To Do Something New..."

She added, “I wanted to do something new with Ruhaan. For example, we haven't given him sugar or salt yet. We haven't given him water for six months. That was new for my mom and Ammi. They would say, How can you not give water to your child? He'll get thirsty. But it is their openness, their understanding that yes, the world has moved forward, new things have come, that understanding was very easy for me. I never massaged Ruhaan with oil. My mother only asked me once. But she never complained about that."

Dipika is currently embracing motherhood and on a full-time break from acting. She is an avid vlogger on YouTube and keeps sharing all the updates with her fans.
