Content creator Shreya Gulati gets candid about her content creation process and journey with whosthat360. In this exclusive chit-chat, she opens up about the USP of her content and much more.
Here are a few edited excerpts of this delightful conversation;
Why do you think your content featuring your father resonates so well with your audience?
I think my content featuring my dad resonates so well because it's real and relatable. The father-daughter relationship is super special – it's a mix of love, fights, and everyday moments that we all experience. I capture the little things, like how we care for each other, disagree, and even the banter about spending money. People connect with it because it's authentic and mirrors their relationships. I get tons of comments saying, 'I relate' or 'I agree', and that's what makes it special.

Do you think your content with your father has helped you connect with your audience on a deeper level?
Totally! Sharing content with my dad feels super authentic, and I think that's what helps me connect with my audience on another level. It's real, it's relatable, and people can see themselves in it. I feel like I'm just like them, and that's what makes it special.
What inspires you to create content, and how do you come up with ideas?
I'm always buzzing with ideas. I love creating content because it lets me share my thoughts and connect with others. Inspiration strikes from my daily life, conversations, experiences, and emotions. I know if I've felt something, others probably have too, so I just put it out there. Whether it's silly or serious, if it resonates with people, that's what matters.

How do you balance humor and sentimentality in your content?
Balancing humor and sentimentality is key for me. Humor makes content relatable and shareable, helping me reach a wider audience. But adding a sentimental touch creates an emotional connection. With my family and friends, I love blending both; it's real, it's engaging, and it resonates.
What's your approach to creating engaging and relatable content?
For me, it's all about creating content that resonates with my audience, mostly girls and women. I share my genuine experiences, whether it's shopping, skincare, or makeup, and keep it real.. Adding a dash of humor makes it more fun and engaging. My audience loves it, and we have interesting conversations in the comments.

How do you stay authentic to yourself in your content?
Authenticity is very important for me. With so much content out there, I believe being true to myself is what sets me apart. It's not just about creating content but building an identity that resonates with my audience. For me, staying authentic comes naturally, and it's what fuels my creativity and passion.
What's the most important thing you hope your audience takes away from your content?
It's all about spreading self-love and positivity. I want my audience to take away the importance of loving themselves unapologetically. I also hope my content puts a smile on their face and brightens their day. And lastly, I want to promote the value of family love, cherishing the time and moments with loved ones.

How do you measure the success of your content, and what metrics do you use?
Honestly, numbers matter, but they're not everything. I look at views, engagement, and reach, but what matters to me is the love and appreciation from my audience. A reel might have fewer views, but if it's sentimental and resonates deeply, the comments and love I receive are priceless. That's my true measure of success: when my content touches hearts.
