In an exclusive conversation with the Times of India, he said, "The trolling was the biggest reason for calling off my wedding. Amira was deeply affected by the negativity that followed our engagement announcement. This constant barrage of hate began to take a toll on her mental well-being, and I couldn't bear to see her continue to be a target."

He added, "Our families became hesitant about our future because people don't understand that trolling can destroy relationships. It doesn't just hurt the individuals involved; it changes the way people think and view the world."

"We Encountered Some Cultural Differences"

Earlier, he called off his wedding citing 'cultural differences'. Abdu said, "As our relationship developed, we encountered some cultural differences that ultimately influenced this decision. As you all know, I am recognized as a person of determination, which brings challenges in everyday life. It requires a mentally resilient partner. I owe much of my success to embracing my true self. I am deeply grateful for my health, and because of who I am, you all know me and have shown incredible support, which has helped me become so well-known."

He added, "I trust that love will find me again when the time is right. I thank you all for your unwavering support and well wishes during this time."

Earlier, Abdu postponed his much-awaited wedding, which was scheduled for July 7th. The reason behind the change in wedding plans, he mentioned, was an exciting career opportunity as was offered his debut title boxing match.
