BIS Logo: While this official mark of purity is a good starting point, don't rely solely on it, as counterfeiters can replicate it. Instead, use it as one of the verification factors.

Purity Number: Verify the engraving:

• 22K (916): 91.6% pure gold
• 18K (750): 75% pure gold
• 14K (585 or 583): 58.5% or 58.3% pure gold

Make sure the stamp is precise and correctly corresponds to the gold's karat weight.

HUID Code: Scan the unique 6-digit alphanumeric HUID code on the BIS Care app to verify:

• Purity
• Jeweler's name
• Hallmarking center
