Zaid Darbar Breaks Silence On Daisy Shah's '17th Ally' Dig At Gauahar Khan; Here's What He Said

The fallout between Daisy Shah and Zaid Darbar after their stint on reality show 'Alliance' continues to make headlines. While Daisy recently opened up about feeling unsupported by Zaid during their journey on the show, the choreographer and content creator has now responded to her comments, urging her to watch the show before drawing conclusions about their equation.

Friendship Beyond The Show:

Speaking exclusively, Zaid addressed Daisy's remark that his wife, Gauahar Khan, was the "17th ally" in the game. While agreeing that Gauahar was deeply invested in his journey, he maintained that Daisy remained his closest ally within the show.

“Gauahar Khan was the 17th Ally in the show, correct, and she is my OG Ally as well. But yes, in the show, Daisy was my Ally, and she is my friend outside. I guess that when you are friends with someone, it's completely different when you come out of the show. And the way she is saying that she gave me a shoulder to cry on and all, we are supposed to do that when we are friends. We both were there for each other whenever we needed. It's not like I wasn't there."

Zaid stressed that friendships often undergo challenges in high-pressure reality shows and should not be judged solely through individual experiences.

Zaid Asks Daisy To Watch 'Alliance':

Reacting further to Daisy's allegations, Zaid suggested that watching the episodes would give her a broader perspective on what actually unfolded inside the headquarters.

“I really want her to watch the show; she will know what the reality is. I would still give that to her, that she is my friend, and we need to see the larger picture. I would wait for her to understand. We have a lot of time, and I believe we are friends, and what happens between friends should remain between them. I think I will keep my dignity up and end this here."

What Daisy Shah Said:

Daisy, who was recently evicted from 'Alliance', had expressed disappointment over Zaid's conduct during the show. According to her, she consistently supported him emotionally but did not receive the same support in return.

“I'm not saying that Zaid spoke ill of me behind my back. But he was never there for me. Each time he would break down or would get riled up, I offered him my shoulder to cry on. But he has never offered his shoulder to me," she said.

Daisy also rejected Gauahar Khan's assessment of her friendship with Zaid, stating, “She said whatever she did because she was only seeing 45 minutes of footage out of 24 hours. Gauahar was the 17th ally for us. But I believe that whatever happened inside the headquarters should be left there. I don't want to bring up these things in the real world because it could ruin our dynamic. I'll only tell myself that everyone was put on the spot."

Despite the differences, both Daisy and Zaid have maintained that their friendship matters to them, leaving the door open for reconciliation outside 'Alliance'.
