Sara Gurpal Opens Up About Abusive Past After Gautam Gulati's Aggressive Behaviour In 'Rise and Fall 2'

Sara Gurpal got emotional in the latest episode of 'Rise and Fall 2' as a tense exchange with Gautam Gulati brought back painful memories from an abusive relationship she experienced in the past. The actress and singer opened up about her trauma after feeling intimidated during a conversation with Gautam, leaving fellow contestants concerned and supportive of her.

Heated Confrontation:

The incident unfolded when Gautam Gulati was discussing his performance in a task. During the conversation, he suddenly climbed onto a table and began thumping it loudly. His actions appeared aggressive and left Sara visibly uncomfortable. The loud noise drew the attention of other contestants, who rushed in to see what was happening.

Reacting to the situation, Sara climbed onto the table herself and kicked things around. When questioned about her response, she explained that Gautam's behaviour made her feel threatened, and she reacted instinctively.

Painful Memories Resurface:

Later, Sara revealed that the confrontation reminded her of a traumatic chapter from her personal life. Speaking about the emotional impact of the moment, she shared, “I had a very abusive relationship in my past. I have been in a relationship where I was petrified, and when Gautam was talking to me today, I could feel as if that man was talking to me and telling me that if you don't obey me, I will ruin everything around here.

It felt as if he was literally talking to me, and I couldn't take it. I don't know where I gathered so much courage, but I gave it back to Gautam. Nobody can ever scare me that way, and I will not be intimidated or scared by anybody.”

Sara further explained that Gautam's tone and actions reminded her of her former partner. According to her, she felt as though she was reliving a moment where someone was threatening to destroy everything around her if she did not comply.

Standing Up For Herself:

The reality star emphasised that it took her a long time to heal from the traumatic experience and regain her confidence. Determined not to let fear control her again, Sara later confronted Gautam directly.

She told him, “you tried to scare me and don't ever do this. What you did again because you do not scare me and nobody ever will. You were trying to intimidate me by your actions, and I will not be intimidated by you.”

The contestants in the basement were seen rallying behind Sara, with many criticizing Gautam Gulati's actions and supporting her stand against intimidation.
