Rhiti Tiwari Says She Survives On Rs 20-25K Allowance, Opens Up About Relationship With Manoj Tiwari

Life inside the 'Bigg Boss 20' house often brings out deeply personal stories, and contestant Rhiti Tiwari recently shared one such candid account. During a conversation with fellow contestant Scout, the daughter of actor-politician Manoj Tiwari spoke about growing up with expectations attached to her family name, her relationship with her father, and the challenges of carving her own path.

Rhiti's revelations shed light on a side of her life that many viewers may not have known, challenging common assumptions about being a celebrity child.

Childhood Memories:

While discussing her early years, Rhiti revealed that her relationship with her father was not always a close one. She recalled that he left home when she was very young and that communication between them was limited. “My father left home very early. He wouldn't talk to me on the phone. I don't know actually because my parents used to fight a lot. I would meet him once a year."

She further shared that it was only when she turned 18 or 19 that she consciously decided to build a stronger bond with him. “When I was 18 or 19 years old, I decided that I wanted to spend time with my father. I wanted to know what kind of a person he was. But by then, some things got delayed."

No Career Assistance:

Rhiti also addressed the perception that celebrity children automatically benefit from their parents' fame, influence, and industry connections.

According to her, while she carries her father's well-known surname, she has not received the advantages many people assume come with it. “The things that he earned, his money, wealth, name, fame, opportunities, I didn't get them. I got his name, which gives me respect in the room I enter. I am Manoj Tiwari's daughter. I carry respect."

She then revealed that her father had made it clear that he would not intervene in her professional journey. “And he made it very clear to me that he won't help me in my career. Nothing in a bad way. He said, if you have it, you'll do it yourself. I won't do it for you."

Financial Challenges:

Speaking further, Rhiti shared that she has faced financial limitations despite public assumptions about her upbringing. “He didn't give me enough money to learn outside. Because my father doesn't give me anything. I don't get what I ask for. A monthly allowance of Rs. 20-25k. And you think I can't earn Rs. 20,000 a month?"

She also opened up about managing expenses carefully. “Sometimes, I eat a Vada Pav worth Rs. 10 twice a day so that I can fill my stomach. I get a diesel filled worth Rs. 500. Just enough for what I need."

Breaking The Star Kid Myth:

Concluding her thoughts, Rhiti reflected on how people often assume that being Manoj Tiwari's daughter means she has enjoyed a life of privilege. “Everyone thinks that I come with a very big silver spoon in my mouth. But no, I am just a layman. So, it's tough."
