Orry Breaks Silence On Khatron Ke Khiladi 15' Journey: "Not The Fragile Barbie Doll People Think I Am..."

Social media sensation Orry, whose real name is Orhan Awatramani, has emerged as one of the most talked-about contestants on ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15'. Known for his glamorous public persona and celebrity friendships, Orry has surprised both viewers and fellow contestants with his fearless approach to challenging stunts on the adventure reality show hosted by Rohit Shetty.

Recently, Orry shared a heartfelt Instagram reel featuring glimpses of his journey on the show and opened up about what motivated him to participate in the first place.

Personal Challenge:

Reflecting on his experience, Orry revealed that he took the decision to join the show without even informing his parents. In an emotional note addressed to Rohit Shetty, he wrote, “Dear Rohit Ji, I came to this show completely alone all by myself. I didn't even tell my parents I was doing this. No daily check-ins, no frantic calls explaining the stunts, no updates to anyone back home it was just me, in total solitude, performing every stunt gracefully in silence. I wanted to see who I became when there was no audience, no advice, and no one to fall back on.”

The influencer further explained that he initially believed surviving a few episodes would be enough. However, as the competition progressed, he kept pushing his limits and exceeding his own expectations.

Proving People Wrong:

Speaking about his transformation during the show, Orry admitted that he wanted to challenge the perception people often have of him. He wrote, "Back then, surviving 5 episodes felt like enough. Then came 7, then 10, and now… half the entire season is behind me.

I know I've shocked everyone watching, but nobody is in more disbelief than me. Doing this quietly with only myself to rely on was for me to prove to me that I was not the vapid fragile Barbie doll that people paint me out to be."

Orry also expressed pride in the way he handled every challenge, regardless of the result. He added, “Even though I have basically lost every single stunt I have lost elegantly and performed beautifully - never a victory but definitely never a defeat either and for that I am so so proud of myself.”

‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15' returned after a one-year break with the theme Darr Ka Naya Daur. Filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, the season features contestants including Gaurav Khanna, Avinash Mishra, Ruhaanika Dhawan, Harsh Gujral, Avika Gor, Shagun Sharma and Farrhana Bhatt.
