Lataa took to her Instagram handle to share a post indicating how it's easy for people to find beautiful faces but not a beautiful heart. The post has left fans wondering if it was directed towards Sanjeev. The actress recently announced her divorce after 15 years of marriage.

On June 21, 2025, Lataa shared a post on social media confirming her separation. In the post, she mentioned how she had remained silent for long and that it was time to let people know about her divorce. Moreover, she requested fans for privacy. The post read, “After a prolonged silence, I declare that I, Lataa Saberwal, have been separated from my husband, Mr. Sanjeev Seth. I give my gratitude to him for giving me a lovely son. I wish him all the best for his future life. I request everyone to please respect my and my family's peace and not to ask any questions or call regarding this.”

The two played on-screen couples, Rajshri and Vishambharnath Maheshwari, in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. Lataa and Sanjeev tied the knot in 2009 after meeting on the sets of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' and share a son named Aarav.
