Kushal Tanwar Aka Gullu Confirms Divorce In 'Bigg Boss 20'; Reveals Family Cut Ties With Him

'Bigg Boss 20' contestant Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, has finally addressed the viral wedding photos that have been circulating online since 2025. During a candid conversation with fellow contestant Qazi Touqeer inside the house, Gullu confirmed that the wedding pictures were real and also opened up about his divorce, a topic he had earlier avoided discussing publicly.

Shocking Divorce Revelation:

While reflecting on the difficult phases of his life, Gullu spoke about the emotional challenges he faced after entering the entertainment industry and making choices that went against his family's wishes. He shared, “Yahan fir main apne low phase se pohcha, is line mein. Waise dil nahi toota. Kisi ko bata nahi sakte Kyunki sabko woh chiz lag rahi thi galat mere liye aur mujhe lag rahi thi sahi. Mujhe woh step Uthana tha mere liye.”

Moments later, he stunned Qazi by lip-syncing the word, “Divorce.” “Sach mein?” Qazi asked in disbelief, clearly shocked by the revelation.

Marriage Lasted Only A Few Months:

Talking further about his personal life, Gullu revealed that he went through several life-changing experiences in 2024. He said, "2024 mein Bahut tarah ki cheezon se nikal ke aaya hoon main. Wahan se nikal ke aaya hoon main jaise taise." When asked about the duration of the marriage, he replied, "5 and a half or 6 months.” Gullu explained that the marriage happened because of family and societal pressure. He said, "Humari side na Aaj bhi aisi chiz karte hai ke shadi Jaldi karate hai. Pressure rehta hai. Ladko ka bhi. Ke ab karoge kya? Aap kuch kar nahi rahe toh shaadi kar ke khatam kar."

He further revealed that he was never in love with his ex-wife and admitted, "Nahi tha. Aise koi pyaar vyaar nahi tha."

Family Fallout And Emotional Struggles:

The reality star also shared that his decision to seek a divorce led to major disagreements within his family. According to Gullu, his family believed the situation affected their reputation within the community. “Cut. Hojate hai na, woh apne jagah sahi hai. Gaon, samaaj, naam, woh sab Kara ye sab kara.” He added, "There was a fight in which I wanted divorce and my family was against it. My family members had cut me off completely at that time. All of this took a year to settle these matters. It took a toll on me but I am finally out of all of this."

Viral Wedding Photos Resurface:

Recalling the controversy around his wedding pictures, Gullu revealed that the images surfaced while he was in Goa with the 'Roadies' gang. “I was in Goa with the Roadies gang and someone leaked out images. I thought it was a game over for me. I didn't know what to do,” he said.

For those unaware, Gullu's wedding photos first went viral during his stint on 'Splitsvilla 16' in 2025. The pictures resurfaced again after his entry into the 'Bigg Boss 20' house, sparking fresh speculation. With his latest confession, the reality star has finally put all rumours to rest while shedding light on a deeply personal chapter of his life.
