Jiya Shankar Lashes Out at Trolls: "I Will Block You..."

Jiya Shankar rose to fame with her appearance on Bigg Boss OTT 2 and has remained in the spotlight ever since. Her interactions with other participants as well as her strong opinions, grabbed the attention of many. Post the show as well, the actress has never refrained from speaking her mind and often addresses online haters for their comments. Recently, the actress once again hit back at trollers for constantly criticising her social media activities.

"Leave Me Alone..."

During a recent Instagram Live, Jiya Shankar said, "I do not want your suggestions, leave me alone. If you have a problem with something, leave. If you have a problem with what I post on social media, leave or ignore, block me. I will make it easier for you guys, if you have a problem and you are giving me suggestions, I will block you so that tension hi nahi. Because I am exhausted."

"It Is Very Exhausting For Me Now..."

She added, "No matter what I do, you have a problem. DP change kar do, ye kya profile picture lagayi hai, ye post karo, woh post karo, ye kyun post kiya hai woh kyun post kiya hai. (change dp, why this profile picture, post this and that). It is very exhausting for me now."

Earlier, Jiya Shankar retorted at users and meme creators who linked her with Bigg Boss OTT 2 co-contestant Abhishek Malhan. Although the two had a good friendship within the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house, the actress made it clear that they have not been in touch. 

Aiming to put an end to the rumours, Jiya tweeted, “Saying this for ONE LAST TIME to whoever it concerns ! I've got nothing to do with fukra insaan or these meme pages. We shared nothing but friendship & even that no longer exists. I don't even follow any of these meme pages or have any knowledge of how this works."

On the work front, Jiya has appeared in several television shows such as Pishachini, Kaatelal & Sons, Meri Hanikarak Biwi, and others. She also played a parallel lead in the Marathi film Ved, alongside Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Dsouza.
