Jasmin Bhasin on Apoorva Mukhija's Comments: "I Don't Expect Any Kind of Maturity From Her..."

Jasmin Bhasin, who has been making the headlines with her stint in 'The Traitors', has opened up about the comments made by fellow contestant Apoorva Mukhija on the show. Jasmin shared her reaction after watching the footage. "I saw the show as a show, as an artist, I will do multiple shows, and I cannot take people personally."

"I Would Not Like To Take Anything Personally..."

She added, "Her opinion was completely based on what was happening in the show, and I think she is much younger than me. So, I would not like to take anything personally anyway because I do not expect any kind of maturity, sensibility, or decency of words from her because that is her personality; she owns it. You know she wears it like a crown on her head and all the best to her for that."

"The Kind of Vocabulary Apoorva Uses..."

She continued, reflecting on the bigger picture and how she views Apoorva's behavior, she said, "I think with time when she, you know in future she might realize that all the positives of her personality because she is a very smart girl, she is intelligent, she is outspoken, she is confident, everything because there are few flaws which I feel are flaws, she may not feel they are flaws, the kind of vocabulary she uses, the way she talks to people, the way she responds, some bad things cover up the good things which may lead to bad things. So maybe with time, she will realize, she will have her own journey, she is a child growing up. So I look at her from that perspective and I do not take anything too hard."

For the unversed, Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther emerged as the winners of the first season of 'The Traitors', a reality show hosted by Karan Johar. In the last episode, Uorfi and Nikita voted out fellow innocent Sudhanshu Pandey, as well as traitors Harsh Gujral and Purav Jha. The prize amount of ₹70 lakhs was split between Uorfi and Nikita.

'The Traitors', which streamed on Amazon Prime Video, was an adaptation of the international format where contestants are secretly divided into Innocents and Traitors. The goal for Innocents is to identify and vote out the Traitors, while Traitors attempt to eliminate the Innocents without being caught.
