Gauahar Khan Reveals She Doesn't Entirely Depend On Nanny To Raise Her Son: "I Have To Know I Am Bringing Up My Child"

Gauahar Khan has recently opened up about seeking not full help from staff while raising her kid. She is the mother of a son named Zehaan and is expecting another bundle of joy with her husband, Zaid Darbar. The couple recently delighted their fans with the news of her second pregnancy, and now, she has talked about parenthood.

"If You Have a Good Support System..."

In a recent conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Gauahar Khan disclosed her perspective on motherhood. According to her, any working mother is able to balance both her career as well as her parental duties if she gets the correct support. She said, “If you have a good support system, help honi chahiye, family honi chahiye, aapka husband aapka support system hona chahiye (There should be help, there should be family's help, your husband should be your support system) Then everything is workable."

Gauahar on Balancing Motherhood and Work:

Talking about how she made it possible, she added, “I made sure that wherever I was shooting during these 2 years, Zehaan was with me. I didn't care. I was like mere toh pocket se bhi paise jaaye koi problem nahi. Lekin (I have no problem even if money is spent from my pocket. But), I had to know that I am bringing my child and not just (external) help." Gauahar also clarified that although she appreciates having supporting staff with her while she goes to work, she doesn't solely rely on them.

She also mentioned that nowadays, even most of the production houses and various workplaces have become supportive of new mothers. Talking highly about the latest culture, she said that she would continue working even after giving birth to her second child.

Gauahar Appreciated Her Husband:

Further, while Zaid heaped praise on his wife's professionalism, she stated that her husband has been a rock during her pregnancy and post-pregnancy period. Gauahar also revealed that the entire production house had helped them when their kid Zehaan fell ill. The little one had to rush to the hospital and the doting parents expressed their gratitude towards the almighty for also having Zaid present over there.
