Tanishaa Mukerji has recently opened up about his childhood fights with sister Kajol. She mentioned that Kajol would fight a lot in their childhood days. Tanishaa also stated that her mother Tanuja thought that Kajol would kill her younger daughter.

"I Was Raised By The Force Of Women..."

In an interview with Hauterrfly, Tanishaa Mukerji was asked about her childhood memories. She said, "I was raised by the force of women. My great-grandmother raised me. My mom would go for work. Her brother and his 2 daughters were also used to stay with us. So, I grew up with three sisters."

"Kajol And I Used To Fight A Lot"

When asked about her fights with Kajol, Tanishaa Mukerji said, "Kajol and I used to fight a lot. She is older than me in age as well as in size. She is physically bigger than me. My mother used to get scared of the fact that Kajol would kill me one day. She had a very bad temper when she was a kid. My mom used to be very scared."

"My Mom Made A Rule..."

She added, "My mom made a rule that we can fight without touching each other. I think it was a very good thing that Mummy did for us. Because of that, Kajol and I developed a strong bond of sisterhood for each other."

Tanishaa continued, "So all the kicking, pulling, and teasing was not allowed. I think it was a good decision from our mother's side because then Kajol and I grew our own equation. This was because if a parent enters the children's war, they might end up taking one side or try to sort out which might lead to one of them creating bitter feelings."

In the same interview, Tanishaa mentioned that “only a mother” can raise a child and no one else can give the child what they really need. “I just feel that women should be home with their children because only a mother can really teach the child, bring up the child and give the child the nurturing the child needs. Only a mother can do this. You can't get this from your school, or nanny, or maid. I am not a very big on ‘leave your child and go to work',” she said and added, “I strongly feel that if you want to have a child, give that child the first five years of your life. Then do whatever you want. I am very clingy with my mom. It is because of the feeling of being left, so whenever I had her around me, I wouldn't leave her alone. I still cling to my mummy.”

Earlier, Tanishaa made the headlines when a viral video from Durga Puja in which she was seen arguing with Kajol went viral. She addressed the same and said that they were not fighting and they were just teasing each other.

"We Are Siblings..."

She said, "We are siblings. We were not fighting. We were just talking to each other which is normal. We were just teasing and playing. We didn't think twice about it because it was a private situation. We were in our private Durga Puja; the media had come from outside. They should also respect our privacy."
