Bhavya Singh Lashes Out at Adnaan Shaikh For His Remarks On Women's Clothing

Bhavya Singh has called out her co-participant and content creator Adnaan Shaikh for his recent comments during an interview. In a recent conversation with Let's Talk with Namitaa, Adnaan shared that he is not okay with the women of his family not being covered. Now, slamming him for having a misogynistic mindset, Bhavya Singh hit out at him.

What Did Bhavya Singh Say?

Calling out Adnaan, she shared, “Unfortunately, I was on a show with this guy, and I called him LS (low standard), but what do I know? This man has gone so far away from modesty that he is basically saying that a man is an animal, and you have to take away everything in front of him so that he can have a little bit of self-control."

Further, while asking Adnaan if he is ever going to take responsibility for his own behaviour, Bhavya added, “When are you going to start taking responsibility for your own behaviour, for your own goddamn eyes, instead of blaming all the external factors like, ‘Oh, she dresses like that, it's her fault'?"

“God expects you to have self-control, brother. God expects you to have control over your eyes and your behaviour. You should have the strength to walk down the street and not look at a naked woman passing by. A man's responsibility is his gaze. Your neglect of responsibility should not be her cage," Bhavya concluded.

In a recent conversation with Let's Talk with Namitaa, Adnaan was asked why his wife chooses to wear fully covered clothes. Reacting to the question, the content creator said, “Jisko dikhana hai, apni maa ko, behno ko dikhaye; main to nahi dikhaunga. Only a man knows the way he looks at a woman. In our culture, it is also said that if a woman comes to know how a man looks at her, she would choose to cover herself before stepping out."
