Darbar named Baseer Ali, citing that a stay with Amaal Mallik would be uneventful, as he claimed Amaal would only talk behind his back.

Among the options were “saying no to a Karan Johar film" or “breaking Amaal Mallik's face." Darbar chose the latter. Explaining his choice, he said he had been upset with Amaal allegedly discussing his work behind his back and expressed a desire to confront him directly rather than engage in private disputes.
